I think the hetzer is a really cool looking tank and this list has lots of them, over all it's a lot more tanks than I see in most German lists while still getting a lot of good support.
I went for a winter cammo option for the army, white is a colour I don't normally willing paint so I thought it would make a nice change.
For the Hetzers I painted them up in pea dot cammo then use the marmite technique to get the while washing. I then rounded it off with some rust and iron effect weathering powers and some crushed marble to give it a bit of frosty sparkle.
Next up is the pioneers, I had initially planned on trying to paint them as historically accurate as possible but fast lost the will to live with that and went for various shades of grey...that's pretty much historically accurate in my mind :p
Again the marble dust was applied and it gives them a nice frosty effect.
I am really chuffed with the bases, simple but very effective, will do a break down of them when I get around to basing something else.
